Jim is a highly respected and trusted founding partner of Dandanis & Associates.

Consistently since Jim was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 1986, he has acted for many clients ranging from small businesses to major corporations and banking institutions.

Jim has extensive experience representing clients in disputes relating to commercial property, general commercial and corporate law, building and construction, wills and estates and lending and mortgages.

Jim is renowned for his practical approach to litigious matters and strong and ongoing relationship with his clients. Jim believes that good communication is essential for client satisfaction and therefore strives to understand the client’s business and goals to ensure he gives appropriate legal advice in every matter.

Felicity is a Senior Associate at Dandanis & Associates, having been a part of the firm since 2011.

She undertook her supervised workplace training with the firm in 2013 and was admitted to practice as a lawyer in 2014.

With experience across numerous areas of law, Felicity is a driven lawyer with demonstrated proficiency in commercial disputes and property law.

Felicity has experience across a range of matters, including property disputes, building and construction disputes and director/shareholder disputes.

She regularly represents clients across various jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Magistrates Court of Victoria and VCAT.

Felicity prides herself on being thorough and detail orientated, focusing on bringing a practical approach to legal matters.

Georgina Wu

Georgina is an experienced litigator practicing in debt, tax recovery and insolvency and commercial matters.

She has developed a reputation as conscientious and dedicated lawyer with a sensitive and collaborative approach to practice, particularly through her time as a volunteer with the St Kilda Legal Service and working in a London law practice.

Georgina uses her background in computer science to apply analytical problem solving in legal matters and is always looking for opportunities to apply her computer skills to improve processes and her practice.

She has recently acted in complex share holder disputes in the Supreme Court of Victoria and in an employment law matter in the Federal Court of Australia.

Georgina is fluent in Cantonese.

Rosie Porter

Rosie joined Dandanis and Associates in April 2024 as a Commercial Litigation Lawyer.

She is a dual-qualified lawyer in Australia and England & Wales. Prior to emigrating to Melbourne in September 2022, Rosie practiced as a Commercial Litigation Lawyer in England. During that time, she gained valuable and extensive experience in all aspects of security enforcement, debt recovery and receivership. Rosie studied at the University of Melbourne and qualified in Australia in March 2024.

Rosie has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. She has been praised for her tactical and commercial approach to litigation, efficiency and precision.

She practices in a broad range of commercial disputes including debt recovery, breach of contracts for sale, lease and body corporate disputes.

George Gabriel

George Gabriel is an enthusiastic young lawyer.

Having completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) in 2021, he was admitted to practice in 2023. He has also completed a Diploma of Languages, speaks fluent Greek and Italian and is conversational in Spanish.

George continues to gain experience in Property and Commercial matters with a particular interest in Wills & Probate and Family Law.

He prides himself on his attention to detail in his work, and service to his clients. George is passionate about justice.
